I would have never found your site until now. It is true about staying out of credit card debt. In a way, I wonder if there is a way we can change how we teach our children about credit cards because we all hear the same hype. Why not hire them to do work around the house and provide a match to their retirement fund as well as a "family" credit card where if they go out of control, they end up paying the parents interest. This interest could go directly into their college fund? There are so many opportunities we need to learn not just to teach but provide our children with actual experience in a safe way.
